The Silver Nanoparticles are a high-purity, nanometer-scale spherical silver material engineered for advanced electronic applications. They offer excellent dispersibility and uniform particle size, making them an ideal choice for a wide range of printed electronics. Supplied in a wet gel-like state, the product ensures ease of dispersion during processing. It is ideally suited for the formulation of conductive inks, pastes, and coatings, and is especially well-suited for applications such as inkjet printing, flexographic printing, gravure printing, and EHD jetting. In conductive coating applications, the Silver Nanoparticles enable rapid, large-area film fabrication when applied through ultrasonic spraying, air atomization, or gravure roll coating. These scalable manufacturing methods deliver uniform, high-performance conductive layers that effectively meet the demanding requirements of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.
Catalog Number: NovaNP-Ag-G40
Average Diameter: ~40nm
Purity: ~98% (excluding solvent)
Dispersible Solvents: water, alcohols, alcohol ethers, NMP, DMF, alcohol esters, and other polar solvents
Processing Recommendation: For low-viscosity conductive inks (inkjet, gravure, flexographic), disperse using a ball mill or mixer; ball milling for >5 hours is recommended to improve filtration.
Recommended Baking Temperature: 120–150°C, 30 minutes
Sensitive Temperature: ≥ 80°C
Appearance: wet gel-like state.
STORAGE
The silver nanoparticles are supplied in a wet gel-like state to ensure easy dispersion. Store at low temperature (0-10°C) in a tightly sealed container to maintain this state, as re-dispersion becomes difficult once the material dries. After each use, the container must be promptly resealed. A small amount of acetone (<2 wt%) is added as a sealing agent and will evaporate after brief stirring or standing for a few minutes before use. This process does not affect product performance.
APPLICATIONS
The Silver Nanoparticles are versatile functional materials designed to meet the needs of modern printed electronics and conductive coating technologies. Typical applications include:
- Conductive inks: Well-suited for inkjet, flexographic, gravure, and EHD jetting, enabling the production of precise, high-resolution printed circuits.
- Conductive pastes & coatings: Ideal for flexible electronics, RFID antennas, sensors, and wearable devices where stable conductivity and fine feature detail are essential.
- EMI shielding films: Enables rapid, large-area deposition of conductive layers through ultrasonic spraying, air atomization, or gravure roll coating.
- Printed electronics: Delivers consistent conductivity and broad process compatibility, supporting scalable manufacturing of advanced electronic components.
