The Silver Nanowires A20 are high-aspect-ratio Ag nanowires engineered for applications that demand exceptional transparency, film uniformity, and fine conductive network structures. With an ultra-fine diameter of ~20 nm and a length of ~25 µm (aspect ratio >1000), they form a delicate, well-connected network that delivers high optical transmittance and low haze. These silver nanowires particularly well-suited for transparent conductive films and flexible optoelectronic devices requiring smooth, optically clear coatings.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Catalog Number: NovaWire-Ag-A20
Average Diameter: ~20nm
Average Length: ~25µm
Appearance: gray suspension (dispersed in solvent)
Dispersion Solvent: water, ethanol (ETH), isopropanol (IPA), or customized
Concentration: 5mg/ml, 10mg/ml, 20mg/ml, or customized
Recommended Coating Methods: roll-to-roll, slot-die, micro-gravure, and other coating processes
RECOMMENDED STORAGE & HANDLING
Store the silver nanowire dispersion in a sealed container at 5 to 35 °C, ideally between 5 and 8 °C, and avoid light exposure. The dispersion remains stable for several months under proper storage.
Due to the high aspect ratio of the silver nanowires, some sedimentation may occur; gently shake before use to redisperse, and reseal the container tightly after each use.
APPLICATIONS
Silver Nanowires (Ag Nanowires) possess excellent optical, electrical, thermal, mechanical, and antibacterial properties. These features enable their use across a wide array of applications:
- Transparent Conductive Films: Silver nanowires are used to replace indium tin oxide (ITO) in touchscreens, solar cells, OLEDs, and LEDs due to their excellent transparency, flexibility, and cost-efficiency.
- Flexible Electronics: Silver nanowires are integrated into flexible and stretchable materials for the development of flexible electronic devices, including flexible displays, wearable electronics, flexible antennas, and bendable sensors.
- Printed Electronics: Silver nanowires are formulated into conductive inks for inkjet and screen printing, enabling scalable, low-cost production of printed electronic components.
- Flexible Transparent Heaters: Silver nanowires are utilized in flexible, transparent heaters for automotive defrosting, de-icing and smart windows.
- Antibacterial Applications: Silver nanowires are applied to medical textiles, devices, filters, and frequently touched surfaces (e.g., door handles, elevator buttons) to inhibit bacterial growth.
- Catalysis: Silver nanowires serve as efficient catalysts in organic synthesis, pollutant degradation, and environmental remediation due to their high surface area and chemical reactivity.
- Sensors: Silver nanowires are employed in gas, chemical, pressure, strain, and biosensors, offering high sensitivity, mechanical flexibility, and compatibility with various substrates.
